1003-ds-trailer-tire
Just trying to read the tire lettering to figure out how much to
inflate the tires on a very old and rusty small trailer that got
junked a bit later.
1007-dead-trees
More standing dead trees awaiting being cut down and brought to the
dump. There were also to rotten dead trees on the ground.
1021-my36-in-yard
These photos were taken for Aaron at Belmont Boatworks to see the
access to the boat for the purpose of hauling to Belmont. They are
also nice photos of the boat, out of water though.
1025-my36-hauling
These are photos of Aaron picking up the boat (Mariner Yacht 36) and
one taken by Aaron after placing her in Belmont's yard.
1026-lake-tara
Another Lake Tara photo after a rain. The puddle will drain in a few
days. This area is normally dry.
1029-truck-rack
This is the beginning of a truck lumber rack that I put on the F-250.
1030-truck-rack
This shows detail of the aft piece of the lumber rack. This piece is
overbuilt somewhat and is easily removable.
1104-truck-tire-stats
Just in case I need to know the recommended truck tire pressure. I've
been told to increase the pressure, particularly the back to 90 if
carrying a heavy load in the truck bed.
1107-belmont-boats
This is a photo of a wooden boat in serious need of repair outside
with my boat at Belmont Boatyard. Despite paying for indoor storage
the boat was outdoors and uncovered for quite a long time before being
moved indoors.
1124-j+m+s-splitting-wood
Left to right is Shannon, Jo-Ann, and Margo behind Jo-Ann's pickup
truck loaded with firewood. Jo-Ann bought a 22 ton wood splitter and
was playing with it. Thsy are stacking the first load.
1203-tower99-bed
This is some of the bedroom furniture at my Bangor apartment.
1208-wood-stove-specs
Tara was considering buying a woodstove. We were checking
measurements to make sure it would fit in the fireplace. She didn't
end up buying one (yet).
1212-tower99-stream-ice
Kenduskeag Stream is frozen solid again.
1213-tower99-stream-ice
The ice on Kenduskeag Stream is quite thick and with it warming a
little it is cracking and floating away showing the thickness of the
remaining ice.
1216-tower99-snow-shovels
Two photos of the "snow shovels" at Tower 99 apartments. The latter
removes snow with much less effort and used for the sidewalks and
parking lot. The shovel is about 8 feet wide and the top of the cab
about 7 feet above the ground.
1228-belmont-storage
The Mariner 36 was stored under an aparent roof leak or maybe just
condenstaion on the ceiling. From staying outside for a long time the
deck, previously very clean now had a layer of brown dirt. Worst of
all the crack in the forward starboard toe rail must have picked up
water and frozen, widening the crack to the point it now clearly need
repair to avoid getting any worse.
1230-belfast-trail
These are a few photos along the rail trail that runs north from
Belfast Harbor. The plaque recognized major contributors.
1231-belfast-harbor
This is a panarama video of Belfast Harbor from across the way from
Front Street and the majority of commercial activity. The original
mp4 file off the cell phone has issues with firefox and draws
complaints from mplayer. It may need to be read in and converted by
some video tool like ffmpeg. This was taken on New Years Eve day.
1231-derelict-house
Taking a walk new Young's Lobster I found the somewhat derelict house.
