0102-cleaning-shackles The shackles and thimbles used in my mooring pendant needed to be cleaned. Thay are all 316 stainless.
0103-cleaning-shackles This is a shackle before cleaning. With Bon-Ami (aka Barkeepers Helper) and a lot of scrubbing the stainless steel shine can be restored.
0111-fireplace Another raging fire in the woodstove on a cold January night.
0123-new-pendants The pendants all use this 1/2" shock chord plus either 5/8" (CP23) or 3/4" three strand nylon. Two shock chords on either side are stretched about 80% before tension is taken by the nylon. That takes 400 lbs of loading for 4-5 feet of stretch per side.
0128-junk-wood This is yet another load of wood and bramble removed from the back yard. The mostly wooded part of the property previously dominated by poison ivy, bramble, and fallen dead trees is gradually getting cleaned up.
0307-moving-prep This is early packing for the move to Bangor. The tall stack of boxes is books and the small pile of junk is metal recycling and e-waste.
0322-trailer+splitter I bought an inexpensive trailer frame kit and a small electric wood splitter (still in the box).
0326-trailer-lights The kit came with trailer lights but the cheap clip connectors. I used marine waterproof connectors. The photo is testing the lights.
