These photos were taken from one of the safety boats. This set of photos are from the fifth race, which was the second race after lunch. Wind again did not cooperate, but this time it was wind direction. The start was delayed as a very light wind shifted from SW to NW and back a few times. Once it seemed to steady at NW and picked up to light the race was started. Unfortunately is shifted back to SW part way up the first windward leg. The race was continued but ended up being a reach/reach race rather than a windward/leaward race. The photos cover 14:44 with at a crowded windward mark to the last crossing of the windward mark at 14:46. The course was D (windward/leaward).
