One Sunday Sandy and I skied at Sugarloaf Outdoor Center in Carrabassett. The skiing was great. After a short distance on groomed trails, we started out on ungroomed trails with what seemed to be tracks from on prior skier a while ago. This was hard work with some 20" of new snow over the 6" base set down earlier in the week. The sun was out and it was warm and the views were great. I finally got some good photos of Sandy. We had to go off trail twice to let the grooming machine by but then we were skiing on freshly groomed snow. The snow was soft and so not too fast but with good gliding. Plus we had done the hard work of going up hill on ungroomed trails and now had mostly downhill to finish up the day. We both had a wonderful day.
