Part of the solution to the weed problem in Erin and Mike's garden was to dig holes for the weeds and bury them. Most of the holes were about 18 inches deep with 6-12 inches of soil over the top after the weeds were buried. Tarps and mulch were put over the soil to keep weeds from coming back by next spring.
