0115-new-bolt
Daniel's two week old Bolt was in the driveway with my Leaf.
0119-qhc-turkeys
Some 30-40 turkeys were crossing the road near the QHC sign. They
didn't all cross at once so none of the photos got the whole group.
0305-storm-at-oyc
With a March storm an a high tide the OYC clubhouse looks like an
island. There was no significant damage but a lot of washed away pea
gravel and a lot of rack and debris in the parking lot and elsewhere
that had to be cleaned up.
0320-nauset-storm-damage
This is the storm that took away Liams Clam Shack from Nauset Beach.
A backhoe was demolishing what was left of it including some
abandonned septic tanks. There was a lot of washover on the southern
spit. A very large snowy owl was spotted.

0820-erin-weeds
Erin and Mike let the weeds take over their garden. Tara and I came
over to bring things back under control.
0821-erin-weeds
Part of the solution to the weed problem in Erin and Mike's garden was
to dig holes for the weeds and bury them. Most of the holes were
about 18 inches deep with 6-12 inches of soil over the top after the
weeds were buried. Tarps and mulch were put over the soil to keep
weeds from coming back by next spring.
0905-bad-car-wash
After taking my car to the car wash it came out dirty. I made them
run it through again. It was still dirty except for the places that
they had bothered to use the mops. Lazy kids working there.
0922-race-results
These are the hand written race results for the 2018 Yankee Chowder
Cup Regatta, part of the Yankee Duo.
0922-yankeeduo
The 2018 Yankee Duo had one day of mostly light wind with the second
day cancelled for lack of wind. Sixteen boats raced. The weather was
pleasant making for a good day of sailing.
0929-lily-hiking
Erin and Mike took Lily for a hike. Their neighbor Manny took his
very friendly doberman, Charlie.
0930-lily-bday
Lily's birthday party was well attended. Of course it began with a
hike. That was followed by a barbeque but we have no photos of that.
Lily was knocked out from the hike and all the attention and
excitement. Despite "no gift" instructions Lily had a number of gifts
to open including a treat dispensing toy that she was testing out on
the porch.
1203-rackmount
A bit of cleanup was done on the rack holding the patch panel,
ethernet switches, and rackmount servers.
