Erin and Mike are digging a shallow trench for the bottom of the wire fencing on the large section of the garden and putting in the last of that fencing. The small garden has both rabit fence (2"x3" wire spacing) and a lower 1/2 inch wire mesh for smaller rodents. With its 4x4 wood base, wood framing for the fencing and thought to be nearly rodent inpenatrable fencing, Mike has named the small garden "The Fortress". The last of these photos were taken just prior to planting.
