These photos were taken from one of the safety boats. This set of photos are from the first race of the day and cover 10:14 at the windward mark to 10:42 at the finish. The course was F (triangle then windward/leaward).

These photos were taken from one of the safety boats. This set of photos are from the second race of the day and cover 10:49 just after the start, viewed from windward, to 11:13 at the second rounding of the windward mark. The course was M2 (two triangles).

These photos were taken from one of the safety boats. This set of photos are from the third race of the day and cover 11:25 somewhat after the start as viewed from windward, to 11:55 at the last roundings of the leaward mark. The course was D2 (windward/leaward twice).

These photos were taken by Anton Anderson at the OYC 2016 Daysailer Regatta. This third set of photos were taken as the boats were heading in for lunch, at lunch, and a few as the boats headed back out.

These photos were taken by Anton Anderson at the OYC 2016 Daysailer Regatta. This fourth set of photos were taken during the afternoon races. Three races were run in the afternoon although the wind did not want to cooperate for all but the last of the three. The wind was very light and variable in the first race. The wind was light and did a big shift in the second race. The wind picked up a bit and held a more steady direction in the third race.

These photos were taken from one of the safety boats. This set of photos are from the fourth race, which was the first race after lunch. Wind did not cooperate. It went from light to very light to near calm by the time the last boats made the last leg from the leaward mark to the finish. The photos cover 13:28 just after the start viewed from windward to 14:38 after the last finish catching a boat sailing about waiting for the next start. The course was D (windward/leaward).

These photos were taken from one of the safety boats. This set of photos are from the fifth race, which was the second race after lunch. Wind again did not cooperate, but this time it was wind direction. The start was delayed as a very light wind shifted from SW to NW and back a few times. Once it seemed to steady at NW and picked up to light the race was started. Unfortunately is shifted back to SW part way up the first windward leg. The race was continued but ended up being a reach/reach race rather than a windward/leaward race. The photos cover 14:44 with at a crowded windward mark to the last crossing of the windward mark at 14:46. The course was D (windward/leaward).

These photos were taken from one of the safety boats. This set of photos are from the sixth and final race of the day. Thw wind was more cooperative for this race. It was still a bit light but picked up a bit from the prior two races and held steady at SW. The photos cover 15:05 with three boats approaching the windward mark to 15:13 with the last boat crossing the finish. The course was D (windward/leaward) and was shortenned due to the light wind in the prior races. This made for a rather quick race with the wind picking up.

These two photos are of a hen turkey and her chicks. They have already grown to the point where they simply look like miniature turkeys. The sun was low so lighting was not the best.

With 214,000+ miles on it, the time had come to trade in our 1999 Audi A4. Erin had borrowed the car for a number of years in college and after college when working in Vermont. The car still ran very well, looked clean inside and out, with the exception of a long light scratch on the passenger side low on the doors and some surface cracks in the driver's side seat leather.

This is our new 2016 Nissan Leaf which we've named Lil Sparky. Lil Sparky is seen next to big brother, a Ford F-250 which will still have boat towing duties and Tara's 2010 Prius. The Leaf is all electric. The charger can be seen mounted to the side of the garage. In 2007 we bought our first Prius for use when I was working in Californiz (but still living on Cape Cod). Daniel now drives the 2007 Prius We then bought Tara's 2010 Prius and Erin's 2012 Prius. The Leaf is our first electric and the three Prius are probably going to the the last gas consuming cars I buy.

Twins Margo and Jo-Ann turned 60 and threw a party. Shannon did most of the decorating. As seen in one of the last photos, Shannon took photos so I put down the camera and just enjoyed the party.
