The Orleans Yacht Club summer kickoff is held on the Sunday before Memorial Day each year. The Commodores and Past Commodores put on their blue blazers and OYC ties or blue ties. The Executive committee are also well dressed for this event; the men wearing blazers, the women in black and white. The event committee also wear white shirts or black and white and serve appetizers. Most of the club members also come well dressed. We have the whole summer ahead to show up in shorts and t-shirts and get out on the water.
