This is a turkey male and a female. The male had displayed but with no one to challenge was just chilling for a change.

0418-rhodie-pre-bloom
This is the first blooming rhodie prior to blooming. The ground has been cleared of the lily-of-the-valley that had taken over.

The first to bloom rhodie is now in full bloom. It has small flowers but lots of them. It needs a trim.

Beginning to transplant one small firebush and a bunch of rhodies that were previously foundation plant that were planted too close to the house.

One large rhodie planted too close to the house and in poor shape was split into four and transplanted elsewhere in the yard.

There is a rabbit hidden under the rhodie in the front yard along the road.

0623-tree-stump
This is the first step in removing a large oak tree stump that recently died. The stump is exposed so it can be sawed and further broken up with the axe and pick where the chainsaw shouldn't be used.
